Get More Involved  Advancements & Awards

When you're ready to get more involved, check out the Leader Information page for training information.

Our pack runs smoothly because so many
of you help in so many ways.

Rank Advancement
"Advancement is the process by which a boy progresses from badge to badge, learning new skills as he goes. We should remember that badges are simply a means to an end - and not an end in themselves."

The sites below are useful references for information on rank advancement but do not
replace the information in your Scout's handbook.
Virtual Cub Scout Rank Requirements Guide
This site is useful for getting an overview of the entire advancement process.

Webelos Scout Activity Badges

Sports and Academics Belt Loops and Pins
This optional scouting program is one method of addressing the third aim of Scouting: the development of physical, mental and emotional fitness.

Links to requirements for each can be found here

Religious Emblems
The Religious Emblem is not a Scouting award,
but rather is conferred on a Scout by his religious leader. Each faith has its own requirements for
earning its emblem.
More information on earning this can be found here
.

World Conservation Award
This award provides an opportunity for an individual to "think globally" and "act locally" to preserve and improve our environment. More information can be found here:
