Green Redmond Partnership Work Party

Saturday, July 31st, at Farrel-McWhirter Park!

They'll be in the forested section of the park from 9am to noon, just past the open grass area and the farm, if you use the main entrance off of Redmond Road. If the initial blackberry removal there is finished, they might be able to move further into the park.

As always, no experience is necessary, and they'll have all the gloves, tools, and other materials for you, as well as water and snacks, although it’s good to bring your own water bottle to re-fill. Wear sturdy shoes and consider bringing something with long sleeves for working in the blackberry. All ages are welcome, although all volunteers under 18 must either be accompanied by an adult or bring a signed waiver (available at www.greenredmond.org, on the Volunteer Schedule page). RSVP's are really appreciate your RSVP for this event, because it help us plan, but feel free to join even either way.
