District uniform collection competition
On now through December 14th, 2007
In the spirit of giving, the Chief Seattle Council is launching a district
wide search for Scout uniforms that can be used by the more than 4,000 young
men and adult leaders participating in Scoutreach programs.
Shirts, pants, belts and current issue Scout handbooks in good condition
will all be considered for credit toward this contest.
During the months of November and December, gather up uniforms and books
from your pack, troop, team or crew and bring them to your district’s
roundtable or to your district executive. Note your district name on tape on
each item to ensure that you receive credit for it.
On December 14th at the council office, we will tally up the
uniforms by district and declare a winner. A special prize will be awarded
to the #1 district, and mention will be made in the e-Totem and the
roundtables in January.
Your uniform donation will help a boy or adult leader in need. Thank you for
sharing the Scouting spirit this holiday season. For questions, contact
Jason Macpherson,
jmacpherson@seattlebsa.org.

went away invigorated and inspired. The Midway provided an exciting arena to
display activities and opportunities for all Scouts. The bar has been set to
a new high for a council event, and we certainly look forward to for next
year

The Council was honored to have the keynote speech at the 2007 PTC
delivered by Chief Scout Executive Bob Mazzuca.
